                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF HICKORY STREET MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN ON SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 1992
                   FOR "EDUCATION DAY" UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF
                   THE HARRIET TUBMAN COMMUNITY AGENCY

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Hickory Street between Hardy Street and
       Heaton Street on Saturday, June 6, 1992 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45
       a.m. for the presentation of "Education Day" under the 
sponsorship
       of the Harriet Tubman Community Agency Coalition provided that 
the
       sponsors shall set out and pick up all flasher barricades and
       traffic signs in accordance with the traffic control plan 
attached
       hereto and shall provide, at all times, an access lane for
       emergency and residential vehicles.
